ECN Foundation Redeems Scholarship Pledge To Academy players

ECN Foundation on Tuesday fulfilled its Scholarship Pledge to three of its Academy players.

It could be recalled that the management of the Academy had promised three of its players that excelled at the 2023 Gwagwalada U13 and U15 Cup Competition partly Scholarship to ensure that they continue with their education in their various schools.

The players are Nzubechi Ebelechukwu, Nzubechi Okwaraeke and Shiloh Sunday who emerged as the best goalkeeper U13, best goalkeeper U15 and Shiloh most valuable player of the Academy.

The players who were represented by their parents were handed the cash awards by the Executive Director of ECN Global Ventures Limited Patrick Ngwaogu.

Ngwaogu told the parents that the money is specifically meant to augment the academic pursuits of the players, and to ensure that they remain focused with their academics while pursuing their educational career.

The excited parents were full of appreciation to ECN Globals for fulfilling their dpledge , and promised that that would be used for what it’s meant for.

ECN U13 Academy won the Bassey U13 Cup, while the U15 boys won the third place trophy at the Bocknor U15 Cup all in Gwagwalada Abuja.
