The ECN U17 Football tournament, organized by the Gwagwalada Football Coaches Council, has ended successfully, with Sensational Stars Academy emerging as the champion.

The final match was held at the Government Day Secondary School, Gwagwalada, on Saturday, and was kick-started by the former chairman of Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia, Pastor Emeka Inyama.
Sensational Stars Academy defeated Bocknor Academy by 2-1 with all goals coming in the second half. The match was sponsored by ECN Global Ventures Limited
After the match, the winners were presented with jerseys and trophies by the organizers. The trophy was presented to the Sensational Stars Academy captain by Pastor Inyama the former chairman of Abia Warriors, who was the Special Guest of Honour
The match was watched by important football stakeholders in FCT among whom were FCT FA Chairman Alhaji Adams Mouthar, who was represented by Coach Samuel Abimbola, National U20 Head Coach Ladan Bosso, former National U.17 Girls team Coach Bala Nikyu, FCT Coaches Chairman, Bartholomew David, Former FCT Coaches Chairman Godwin Bamigboye, Former FCT FA Vice Chairman Alhaji Kolo, among others. .
Speaking after the occasion, the Executive Director of ECN Global Ventures Limited Patrick Ngwaogu said ECN is a great example of the commitment to youth sports development in Nigeria.
